Silver Lake State Park Print

Silver Lake State Park! There were many things I could have focused on for this painting: the beautiful Silver Lake with boat docks lining the beaches, the Little Sable Lighthouse we climbed on the shore of Lake Michigan, the tiny shops around town, but OF COURSE I had to highlight the dunes. We took a dune ride tour and saw the wildlife areas, learned about lightning-made glass rocks and dune wood. Dunes are forever the coolest thing about Michigan.

This painting is part of the Michigan Parks and Places series! That means 20 percent of the cost gets donated to Michigan’s state parks through the DNR when you purchase.
