Bayeaux ship

A small but mighty excerpt of the great Bayeaux tapestry. The original Bayeaux piece is extremely long and depicts the events leading up to the Norman Conquest of England in 1066, led by William, Duke of Normandy challenging Harold II, King of England, and culminating in the Battle of Hastings. This woven jacquard tapestry is 29×28″ and does not come with the wooden hanging rod.

Tapestries represented are remaining stock from the Michigan Renaissance Festival and are available for a limited time. Tapestries will be removed from the website 11/28. On 11/29, they’ll be available at HollyDazzle in Holly, MI.
