When someone walks into your room, they learn so much about you: what colors you like, what aesthetic fits your personality, what art speaks to you. What you look at most says a lot!
You can decorate the walls in your bedroom for that perfect mood. But don’t forget to decorate your notebook with stickers and your jacket with pin buttons. Stock your kitchen cabinet with unique coffee mugs and hide illustrated bookmarks in your books. Decorate every nook and cranny so that everything in your home is put there with intention.
SHOWS + FESTIVALS
I’m always cycling through different events. Here’s where you can find me next:
- Michigan Renaissance Festival, Booth 203 – I recently bought an existing tapestry business that operated solely at the festival. Every year from August 19 – October 2 you can find me selling jacquard tapestries as well as my art prints. I’m currently working on integrating A Cup of Cloudy designs into the tapestry inventory.
- The Power of Many – Join me at Vamonos in the heart of Detroit’s Mexicantown for a group show featuring a ton of talented artists. I’ll have two pieces in this gallery-style event. Opening night is Friday, February 21 at 5pm-10pm and the exhibition runs until March 8th. Vamonos also has a juice bar, dance classes, Spanish language practice groups, yoga events and so much more.
- Lucky Bones – Hang out with me March 7th at the Ypsilanti Freight House for a St. Patrick’s Day themed art show featuring all luck-focused artwork, gifts, and foods! I’ll have all the A Cup of Cloudy art prints, woven tapestries, mugs, cards and more. Event starts at 5pm and ends at 9pm.
- Ann Arbor Oddities Bazaar – I’ll have all my artwork available from 10am-4pm Sunday March 30th at the Homes Campus Brewery. This event is put on my One Stop Soul Shop which I hear always puts on a good show! Come hang out with us and get a coffee (or a morning cocktail, we don’t judge).
