When someone walks into your room, they learn so much about you: what colors you like, what aesthetic fits your personality, what art speaks to you. What you look at most says a lot!
You can decorate the walls in your bedroom for that perfect mood. But don’t forget to decorate your notebook with stickers and your jacket with pin buttons. Stock your kitchen cabinet with unique coffee mugs and hide illustrated bookmarks in your books. Decorate every nook and cranny so that everything in your home is put there with intention.
SHOWS + FESTIVALS
I’m always cycling through different events. Here’s where you can find me next:
- Michigan Oddities & Horror Expo – Visit Monroe to see a huge gathering of creepy taxidermy, witchy artwork, snakes in jars and tattoo artists. The two-day event is scheduled perfectly in the “off season” for spooky things on Jan 31st -Feb 1st. There’s always food (but no alcohol) and all ages are welcome.
- Halfway to Halloween – On May 9th from 11am-7pm we’ll be getting spooky during spring in a Halloween-themed expo at Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds in Ann Arbor, MI. There will be a haunted house, a hearse show, a costume contest, tons of handmade goods and more. I’ll be there, so come hang.
- Michigan Renaissance Festival, Booth 203 – I recently bought an existing tapestry business that operated solely at the festival. Every year from August 16 – September 28 you can find me selling jacquard tapestries as well as my art prints. I’m currently working on integrating A Cup of Cloudy designs into the tapestry inventory.
